Can I apply for this card if I’m not already a Qantas Frequent Flyer member?

A credit card is a credit facility which allows you to borrow money from the bank to make purchases and get cash advances. Each credit card has a credit limit which is the amount you have been approved to spend on your card. Read “What is a credit limit” in our FAQ for more information on credit limits. Cash advance rate applies to online transfers and using your credit card to withdraw cash.

Please note, your lounge access may be blocked if your account is closed, in arrears, reported lost or stolen, or has been blocked by us for any reason. NameCheck and Confirmation of Payee work together to prompt you if the account details on a first-time payment don’t look right. This can help protect you from some scams and mistaken payments.

If the overseas transaction is reversed and processed to your account on or after 8 December 2025, the Overseas Transaction Fee will also be refunded. The credit limit is the amount you have been approved to spend on your credit card.
